This is a matching numbers 365HP 327 out of the 1965 Corvette convertable of Randy Harris from Lancaster, SC. This engine and 4 speed transmission had less than 1000 miles on it since being "re-done" by a reputable "Corvette restoration" place in the Piedmont area. They were a mess! The transmission was not salvagable and needed to be replaced, and the engine needed serious work. It is now a factory correct 10.3 to 1 compression, with the correct factory intake, cam, heads and block. A Mallory electronic conversion kit and an adjustable vacuum advance unit were installed to make it more streetable and reliable. Needless to say with a 4 speed and 4:10 rear this thing is impressive.
